1974 Gibson Les Paul Signature Bass

I rescued this bass from the now defunct North Sherwood Pawn Shop. The neck was separated from the body and someone had painted over the original gold top with what looked to be auto enamel. I took it to Tim's Guitar Repair Workshop for a neck reset and to fix the top. Tommy lovingly restored this bass to it's original beauty. He reset the neck without having to redo the finish. He sanded down the top and applied a period correct gold metal flake finish. The rest of the bass was wet sanded and buffed out. The only new finish that was applied is the gold top.
